Sopwith Pup HistoryIt was introduced in October 1916. It was the favorite fighter of Royal Navy. It had an edge over Fokker D.III. It was a very maneuverable and fast plane despite of the fact that it was under powered and was less dangerous then Sopwith camel. It could climb and hold altitude better then any other fighter. It was the first plane to land over an aircraft carrier in 1917.
