Piper Cherokee History

The initial PA-28 was built in 1960. It flew for the first time on January 14 1960. It was a long wing design having a metal construction. Newer versions were added in production line with better engines and other enhancements. Trainer versions with two seats were introduced as well. From 1960 to 1994 different versions have been introduced in the market.
