Airbus a320 HistoryThe development program of A320 was inaugurated in 1982. A320 freshly out of factory made its maiden flight in 1984. The initial version of A320 was A320-100. Some of them were manufactured and delivered but later on newer version A320-200, better in range, speed and payload was launched. Many new technology items for the first time were introduced. Glass cockpit, Fly-by-wire system, container type cargo system etc are some of them. All the new and advanced features make A320 a better plane in respect of maintenance and operation.
