Airbus a319 Specifications

There are two engines in the Airbus a319. Two engine options are present. Either 104.5kN CFM International CFM56-5As turbofans or International Aero Engines IAE V2500-A5s are used in the airbus. The A319 is said to have the longest range in this category of airliner. It shows similarity in speed range with A320 i.e. max speed of 903km/h and cruise speed of 840 km/h. Its range with 64,000 kg is 3391km and maximum range with optional weight i.e. 11,500 kg extra kilos is 6845km. A319’s weight while being empty is 39,884kg where as standard max takeoff weight is 64,000kg. Optional weight increases the total amount with 11,500 kg. A319 has a wing span of 33.91m. It is 33.84m long and has a ceiling of 11.80m. A total of 124 seats have been accommodated in A319. Eight seats are premium class whereas the rest 116 seats are the economy class. If only single type seating arrangement is made then a total of 142 passengers can be accommodated.
