Airforce One History

In 1990 the older versions of jetliners used for presidents transportation was replaced by 747-200 Air Force One presidential aircraft. Boeing planes are used since 1943 for presidential planes. Since it is a complete presidential office so it contains Conference rooms, dinning rooms, quarters for president and office area. A medical quarter is also applicable. Rest areas are also present. Shielded wire more then twice found in 747 used in it to provide protection from electromagnetic pulse in case of nuclear strike. There are 85 telephones on the plane. Uninterrupted Communication from the plane is possible through 24 hours. It can be refueled in Air. It is maintained at Andrews Air Force Base.

Hillary Clinton in 2008 cannot wait to get aboard Air Force One again.
